Art Deco Flapper Hat
Have slowed down on the knitting a bit, partly because its hard when you are being steamed by the weather, partly been in bed 2 weeks, except to run to the loo,and partly because i have fallen back in love with mini's.Have bought a new modern house, and have started the blog at www.thoroughlymodernmini's.blogspot.com.
So the hat was a ravelry pattern called Regina, fun to do,easy, and i used disco red sequin and baby red cotton for the band, black 100% oz wool for the hat.
Found it very hard using dpns, for the top of the hat, finished it 3 times and then found dropped stitches,so crocheted around the last stitches, effectivly sealing them off,the worked into every 2nd st,until 4 left, pulled yarn through,no more droppe
d stitches, you cant see it as its black,if you could it would be a design element, lol.
